Eine Herzhafte Variante - Pulled Pork Poutine

Do you want to eat something really hearty?

Then we have the right recipe for you. A combination of our classic poutine with pulled pork and BBQ flavors.

For three servings of Poutine with Pulled Pork you will need:

  • approx. 250 g Original Cheese Curds
  • 600g french fries
  • 50g Original Poutine Gravy
  • 360 g pulled pork or for a vegetarian diet 360 g meat substitute
  • Some BBQ sauce
  • Optional: We recommend fresh herbs such as parsley for decoration.

Step #1: Start preparing the pulled pork. Depending on how you want to prepare your pulled pork, you may need to allow extra time for this. Pulled pork can take up to 12 hours to prepare.

For our quick street food cooking at home, we use a ready-made pulled pork. Take it out of the vacuum bag and put it in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Feel free to marinate it with a BBQ sauce, that makes it even juicier.

As a vegetarian, you can of course replace the meat with a meat substitute product. We recommend planted.pulled - BBQ. It can be easily heated in a pan for 3-5 minutes and then deglazed with water if necessary.

Step #2: Take the cheese curds out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to let them come to room temperature. This is important so that the cheese squeaks properly later.

Step #3: Prepare the French Fries according to the instructions. Here you are completely free which frieze you want to use. We use a potato with its skin on, which gives the fries a nice color and enhances the taste experience even more.

Step #4: Stir 50g of Original Poutine Gravy powder into 0.5L of cold water. Bring to a boil while stirring and let it boil for 1-2 min.

Step #5: Arrange the crispy french fries on the plate, top with the cheese curds and drizzle over the hot Poutine Gravy. Now add a portion of pulled pork and spread some BBQ sauce over it in a grid pattern.

(Optional) Step #6: Decorate the dish with herbs if you like.

We wish you a good appetite!
